Zenlarge is a Raleigh-area funk-fusion artist whose music brings together deep grooves, rock energy, jazz improvisation, R&B influences, and expressive electronic elements. Led by Zen on vocals and LinnStrument, the full-band presentation features sax, guitar, bass, and drums.

The repertoire combines original music with reimagined covers and mashups. Familiar songs give audiences an immediate point of connection, while live interplay and improvisation allow the musicians to take the material somewhere new. The result is an energetic, genre-crossing show that can move between tightly arranged grooves and spontaneous musical exploration.

At the center of Zenlarge’s original music are themes of mindfulness, resilience, healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. The songs draw from Zen’s own experiences and reflect a larger purpose: creating music that moves the body while giving the listener something meaningful to carry home.

Zenlarge is a multi-year performer at Packapalooza at NC State and has also performed at Juneteenth of the Carolinas and headlined standing-room shows at Slim’s Downtown Raleigh. His recorded work includes releases through 7 Grand Records and collaborations with producer DJ Solar and acclaimed bassist Tony Saunders.
